Day 29 - A family favorite

I was planning to make beef stew for dinner tonight but realized that we are out of potatoes. No money left in the food envelope - and I vowed to not go ahead and spend money anyway - so instead we made an old family favorite usually reserved for leftover meat. Cooked meat sauteed with garlic, onions and a small amount of beef broth tossed with cooked pasta.
